O2 is picking up the iPhone in Ireland, 8 gigs for €399, and the 16GB for €499. Tariffs range from €45 for 175 minutes to €100 for 700 minutes, and all plans include 1GB of data. It sounds like quite the scam compared to O2’s iPhone plans in the UK, but we’re going to just chalk it up to cultural differences.

What’s this blog really about? I mean this in an existential sense. Is the name ‘Journal of Integrity’ meant to be ironic? Has anyone posted something substantive in the last few days, or indeed weeks? Does anybody harbour ambitions that this will ever amount to more than a forum for exchanging fart jokes between friends?

This isn’t intended as criticism, and I wouldn’t dream of implying that my own contributions to this site have been anything better than facile observations and stupid videos. I just want to get a sense of how everyone else conceives of this project. Just because nobody other than us reads it now does not mean that we couldn’t build up a decent readership. We’re all smart, we can all write reasonably well if we exert ourselves, and some of you are quite funny. This blog easily has the potential to be better than about 96% of the blogs out there, so let’s get our shit together and make the site worth visiting for people who don’t know us personally.
