I just want to thank the members of the JOI that were out tonight, was great fun. We learned many things. Mainly that I am indeed able to down a double naggin of jack daniels in next to no time. Also my capacity for birthday cake is huge. Oh and met Gavin and John Mortel tonight they’re very good folk and I envisage a drunken night out again with them.
Aside: I owe gavin a drink and Eoin 10 euro.
Aside Aside: They’ll never get it from me, muhahahaha!
What say we all.?

This could be bloody awesome.

“Individualised” action-figure of an everyday nobody.
In and effort to revitalise the industry, toy company Bandai are removing focus from poorly made made t.v. shows involving space and/or robots. Innovations in the competition, such as the dark re-imagining of fairy tales by the grusomely slick McFarlene Toys, have forced Bandai to search elsewhere (than Japan) for ideas.
In a rather mundanely controversial move, Bandai are taking inspiration from the everyman, the average joe and the dirt eaters of the world. The initial concept designs look disturbing promising and include “Doctor Eoin” (pictured above), “Steve The Pc Repair-Man”, “The Guy Who Has Lived Two Doors Down For The Last Six Years But You Aren’t Sure If His Name Pete or Phil” and “The Guy From The Halifax Ad”.
Will the public respond to these “inaction” figures or will they find entertainment elsewhere? Like the Geography theme park with the “Inter-locking spurs water extravaganza” and the “ox-bow lake of enigmatic mystery”? Watch this spot for updates.

I found these today, and I don’t think I’ve posted them before.

Also, I mentioned this motivational image to some friends the other day.

Here’s a very funny article that examines 9 commonly misused words. It also contains helpful advice on when it is appropriate to correct somebody who uses such words incorrectly.
